Our customer is very particular about the security of the portal, They want to implement the system to be based on various Roles. The portal also provides Executive Communication, Company News, Announcements and Holiday Calendar of the current year as Widgets so that every employee has their own widgets in their personalized dashboard. HR department will also maintain the Employee Database along with their credentials from the Portal.
The project was to build two individual systems which should communicate with each other. Both systems should be used for the Internal purpose (Intranet System). The first system (i.e. myOperationIT) is for Employee and Communication Management among the organization. Every employee should be assigned certain Role which will identify at the time of Login. Based on their Role and Department, they will be able to view respective screens.
OperationIT is one of the biggest service providers for many industries. And, they have their employees distributed in multiple geographical locations. This system we have developed is used to manage all information related to Employees by providing the internal gateway to Collaboration and Communication. As an organization, they need an automated web-portal or solution for employee engagement and track the performance by Gamification in a secured manner.
The system (i.e. Performance Enhancement System) is to keep track of Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly, performance for Employee, their Managers and Vice-Presidents. This system is having a separate dashboard for CEO who can view the performance graphs for all the employees based on Departments and Office Locations.
