Sr. Software Engineer - Python, PHP

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in PHP and Python along with hands-on experience in PERL to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive backend development experience, hands-on knowledge of MySQL, and a solid understanding of RESTful API design using FastAPI. Experience with Perl and modern front-end technologies such as Tailwind CSS and JavaScript is required.
You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating closely with front-end developers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

 Key Responsibilities
•  Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and PHP
•  Build and integrate RESTful APIs (including Fast API-based services)
•  Work with MySQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
•  Develop and maintain front-end components using Tailwind CSS and JavaScript
•  Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
•  Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
•  Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams
•  Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
•  Use version control systems such as Git for source code management
•  Maintain and enhance existing systems, including components written in Perl

Required Skills & Qualifications
•  8–10 years of experience in backend or full stack development
•  Strong proficiency in Python, PHP, and MySQL
•  Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration
•  Hands-on experience with Fast API
•  Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS and JavaScript
•  Experience with Perl 
•  Familiarity with Git repositories and collaborative development workflows
•  Strong understanding of application performance optimization and security best practices
•  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
