Google has taken the step to improve the mobile search experience.<\/p>\n<p>After testing a number of mobile-friendly and non mobile-friendly icons, the search engine has officially released mobile-friendly labels within its search results to help users know whether a website is well-designed for mobile devices. Google\u2019s new initiative will be applicable both on a standalone mobile-optimized site and a responsive design site. It ensures that the web content will exactly fit the size of a screen on a device demanding a web page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flexsin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Google.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flexsin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Google.jpg\" alt=\"Google\" width=\"250\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In new search results, users will find a green-colored tag \u201cMobile-friendly\u201d inserted between the link and description if the website is optimized for smartphones.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Google, \u201cThese labels are the first step in helping mobile users have a better mobile Web experience.\u201d Mentioned-below are some of the criteria as detected by Googlebot for a page to be eligible for the \u201cMobile-friendly\u201d label. These include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Avoidance of software which is not common on mobile devices.<br \/>\n\u2022 Uses texts that are readable without zooming.<br \/>\n\u2022 The size of the content to the screen so that users don\u2019t have to scroll.<br \/>\n\u2022 Easy tapping of places links.<\/p>\n<p>Google will gradually use these mobile-friendly criteria to decide the ranking of a website in its search results.
